Water exposure can cause significant damage, including staining and structural weakness. We specialize in restoring and waterproofing affected areas to prevent future issues.
From small dings to large holes, our repair services cover all types of impact damage. We patch and sand these imperfections to restore the uniformity of your walls.
High-traffic areas often suffer from scuffs and unsightly marks. Our painting services include a thorough cleaning and refinishing to bring back your walls' pristine appearance.
At Marco Island Painting, we understand that each business in Marco Island has unique needs. We offer flexible scheduling and customized service plans to ensure our drywall repair and painting services fit your requirements perfectly. Our goal is to provide solutions that not only look great but also last, giving you the best value for your investment.
First, sand or scrape the edges of the hole so patching material will stick correctly and create a smooth surface. Use a drywall patch kit to repair small holes. Cut the provided mesh adhesive strip so that it is slightly larger than the hole and press it over the hole with even pressure.
Smooth the joint compound with the putty knife, feathering the edges so it blends with the wall. Let the spackle dry about 24 hours. Finally, you can sand that area smooth and paint the wall.
First, patch and repair any holes. Next, prime the dry wall before painting. It is not a good idea to put paint directly on unprimed drywall. Finally, wipe away any dust. Now it is ready for paint.
After the seams are taped and finished, we recommend applying two coats of premium paint to create an even finish.
Failing to prime your drywall before painting can create the look of a patchy and uneven finish. The paint may also peel when exposed to humidity.

Marco Island Painting did a fantastic job painting the interior of our home! Kendra is absolutely terrific and was a huge help throughout the process. She responded within hours of our initial inquiry, provided an estimate over the weekend and had us on the schedule within 2 weeks. Once we got started, she was a huge help as we struggled with color choices. She was totally flexible in allowing us to switch colors for a portion of the house and did everything possible to make sure we were 100% satisfied. The team was neat and professional, and we couldn't be more pleased the quality of their work! We'll definitely use Marco Island Painting for all our future painting needs!
